What outcomes can we expect to report on?

Classes taught to Pungra's standard are designed around measurable, standard fitness outcomes rather than attendance alone:

  • Sustained time in a moderate-to-vigorous heart rate zone (65–85% of max heart rate) during the main section

  • Estimated caloric expenditure of roughly 400–600 calories per hour

  • Attendance and retention, particularly among demographics — such as South Asian women — that are typically underserved by mainstream fitness provision

  • Participant-reported outcomes (confidence, social connection, cultural relevance) that are harder to quantify but often show up strongly in feedback

Ask your instructor what tracking they already do, since this varies by individual and venue.
