CEAT is the teaching methodology every Pungra-certified instructor is assessed against. It has four components, all operating simultaneously throughout a session rather than as separate steps:
Cueing — giving instructions before a movement happens, not after, so participants can prepare
Escalating — managing intensity across the session in line with exercise physiology, not for dramatic effect
Adapting — having a modification ready before anyone has to ask, for every body in the room
Transitioning — using the space between movements to manage heart rate and prepare the room, rather than as a performance device
CEAT is what separates a fitness-literate class from a performance rehearsal that happens to use exercise-style language.
